SAGINAW – Saginaw police continue to investigate the death of a 1-year-old girl who died Thursday after her mother backed over her with the family’s SUV, a department spokesman said.
The incident was reported about 5:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Spring Hollow Drive, police said. The girls mother thought the toddler was inside with her father, said Damon Ing, a police spokesman.
The girl was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner's office as Kynadi Buzbee.
It is unknown how the child got out of the house, Ing said.
The mother was driving a Dodge Durango, Ing added.
