Sweet treats
Breaking news on the candy front:
Your face here
Not only can you put your personal message on M&M’s, now you can put your face on them.
With the new My M&M’s Faces, you can go to www.mymms.com; upload a photo to be emblazoned on the candies, in your choice of up to three of 22 colors; and add two or three brief personal messages. There’s even an online cropping tool for the photo.
They’re $14.95 per 7-ounce bag (three bags minimum), $162.50 for a 5-pound bulk box, plus delivery charges.
We predict we’ll be seeing a lot of these at wedding receptions and other celebratory parties this summer.
Holy Reese’s, Batman!
The latest piece of Bat-mania is Reese’s promotional tie-in with The Dark Knight movie, opening July 18. Special-edition bat-shaped Reese’s come in milk chocolate and dark chocolate, one to a package, for the same price as a package of regular Reese’s cups. Specially marked packages contain game pieces for Reese’s "Find the Bat-Signal and Win" contest, whose grand prize is a Batman-themed hand-built motorcycle (details: www.reeses.com/darkknight).
