Did you know that Autism affects more than 2 million individuals in the U.S. with 1 in 68 children having been diagnosed with an Autism-spectrum disorder (ASD)? More so did you know that according to the CDC, that ASD has increase almost ten-fold over the last 40 years?
April is Autism Awareness Month and to help create awareness as well as raise funds for the local Hope Center for Autism, Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. is hosting a family-friendly event this Sunday, April 27 from 3-7 pm.
Adults (over 21) with a $35 ticket will receive four beers, BBQ food trucks, dessert and live music by Sonny Burgess, Dempsey Pullen and Cami Maki. Additionally, there will also be a silent auction available for bidding. Kids under 12 will be free and food will be available for purchase.
