A man died early Friday when his motorcycle crashed into a sign near the intersection of Trinity Boulevard and Norwood Drive in northeast Fort Worth, police said.
The man's name was unavailable early Friday, because authorities had not yet confirmed his identity, said Detective Christine Demore of the Traffic Investigation Unit.
Police were called to the wreck at 2:21 a.m., said Lt. Paul Henderson, police spokesman. The area is near the Bell Helicopter plant.
The man was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson Road King eastbound on Trinity Boulevard when he lost control and crashed into a sign and median in the center of the road, Henderson said.
"It looks like the road curved and he kept going straight," Demore said.
A MedStar ambulance was sent to the scene, a dispatcher for the agency said. However, the man died at the scene, Henderson said. He did not wear a helmet, Demore said.
