Two people died early Sunday in a one-vehicle roll-over wreck on the northeast side of Denton, police said.
The victims were Donald Tidwell and Marsha Tidwell, both 47, of Grand Saline, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office, which handles cases for Denton County.
The wreck happened at about 2:40 a.m. Sunday on North Loop 288 near its intersection with Kings Row, said Officer Jim Bryan, police spokesman.
They were traveling westbound on the loop when the 1995 Jaguar they were in "left the roadway and rolled multiple times," Bryan said.
Never miss a local story.
Both people were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, Bryan said.
Investigators on Monday did not know why the car left the roadway, but the accident was still under investigation, Bryan said.
