A Fort Worth police officer was injured in a traffic collision Wednesday and taken to an area hospital.
The officer, who was identified only as male, was taken to a hospital "to be checked out" after his head was injured, said officer Daniel Segura, a Fort Worth Police Department spokesman.
The collision occurred just before 5:15 p.m. Wednesday.
According to MedStar, three parties involved in the wreck near East Rosedale Street and Tension Drive sustained minor injuries and were in stable condition. Two vehicles were involved, but it's unclear which way the police vehicle and the civilian vehicle were travelling.
Police did not specify the cause, or whether any criminal investigation would come from it. No further details were released.
