AT&T Stadium draws record attendance for Final Four

More people watched a Final Four in person at AT&T Stadium than any other venue.
A record 158,682 were on hand combined for the semifinals on Saturday and the championship game on Monday.
Monday’s announced attendance was 79,238, the largest for a national championship game and the second-highest total for a Division I men’s basketball game. The record for most to attend a college basketball game was set Saturday with 79,444 in attendance. The previous championship game high was 74,326 set last year at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The previous record for attendance at a game was 78,129 on Dec. 13, 2003 for Michigan State-Kentucky at Ford Field in Detroit.
