Is there a place that just makes you happy when you enter it?
When you walk in the door it just puts you in a total state of "OM?"
Just thinking about it actually brings a smile to your face?
Well besides Starbucks, I find zen at The Container Store. The concept of having a life that is organized, there's lots of white space and I know where everything is just makes me feel complete, especially when there are so many things I can't control. And besides, making everything colored coded just makes everything better, right?
We'll Fort Worth, get excited because The Container Store is opening off I-30 and Hulen this Saturday! The DFW-based retailer is rolling out the blue carpet all weekend, August 10 - 11, with giveaways including hourly prizes and a $1000 elfa Space Makeover on both days. To get you to share the #ContainFTW Love, the first 100 people to share their visit to the store on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram will receive a $10 Store More Card. And since shopping is hard work (and parking in the lot across from Central Market is too), everyone gets bottled water and free valet all weekend. But that's not even the good part - 10% of all proceeds this weekend go to benefit the Lena Pope Home here in Fort Worth.
Some come on out to say hello to your NEW favorite store and help impact the community - all while making your life a little bit easier.
You'll love it, I know I do.
