If you want to steer clear of the green beer this St. Patrick’s Day, try one of these lucky, charming concoctions. They’re magically delicious.

Lucky Charms martini

2 ounce citrus vodka
1 ounce cranberry juice
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/4 ounce St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
1/4 ounce simple syrup

Add all ingredients to shaker. Fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with green sugar. Garnish with Lucky Charms marshmallows.

Mix tip:
This lucky libation is a bit tangy; add a little more simple syrup if you like your drinks on the sweeter side.

Caramel clover

3 ounces Bailey’s Crème Caramel flavored Irish Cream liqueur
1 ounce vodka
1ounce half-and-half
Cream caramel-flavored alcohol-infused whipped cream. (The brand name is Cream, and I found it in the liqueur section.)
Add all ingredients to shaker. Fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with whipped cream. I made mine with four squirts to resemble a four-leaf clover. To add festive color, sprinkle the whipped cream with green sugar.

Paddy’s Cocktail

2 ounces Herradura Silver Tequila
1/2 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
2 inches of cucumber, diced finely
A large pinch of cilantro

Dice the cucumber and add to shaker, then crush with a muddler. Add a large pinch of cilantro, tequila, lemon juice and simple syrup. Fill with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a disc of cucumber and a cilantro leaf.

Mix tip: All you need to know about this refreshing and light cocktail is that if you like margaritas on the rocks, double the recipe because you will want more than one.
