"Packing lightly" is simply not in my vocabulary. I need options to suit every mood, ranging from cocktail to casual, so I'll be perfectly coiffed at my destination. And don't even get me started on accessories. I've been known to lug along a separate suitcase solely for the purpose of matching shoes to handbags.

At least Stila helps me keep my makeup to a minimum. Their new collection of travel palettes contains all the essentials one needs to transform from travel-weary to ready-to-hit-the-town.

The first in the series, Road to Radiance includes four shimmery eye shadows in shades of mauve and plum, as well as a creamy convertible color (wear it on cheeks and lips) in the prettiest pink. It's sleek and compact and includes a handy mirror for easy application. And at only $10 a pop, I plan on adding the whole lineup to my collection. Watch for other palettes to appear throughout the fall and winter.

Now if only Stila could help me condense my footwear.
