I think I share everyone's sentiment that this week has been a stressful one (to say the least). Between the heat and the honey-do list, the fantasy of sitting next to the pool with a large margarita has been the only thing that has kept me going (that and a large Starbucks iced VIA).

Normally I don’t care for what’s on TV or I am completely too busy to pay attention to it, but I have noticed this week, TV has been on the brain! TiVo is my second best-friend to my IPhone, but this week I have scheduled to tune in like normal people rather than to wait for a moment to get it all in one time.

One would think you really don't need to embellish on the concept of saving money, but I know some people are not fans of those frequency/reward shopping cards that are hanging from their keychains. So I decided to do a little re-schooling about those little cards and perhaps find a better name for them in the process.

I am so thankful that I have so many amazing friends – especially at my age. I took off this week to take care of my beautiful son who had a heart procedure at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. He is doing wonderfully and resting at home now, but next week we both will be ready to go with some exciting stories and adventures!

I am not a gardener by any means.
