For most people the big name in the InStyle headline “It’s Official! David Arquette and Christina McLarty Are Married” would be David Arquette, brother of Alexis, Rosanna and Oscar-winning Boyhood star Patricia, ex of Courteney Cox.
And really, he is the big name. But Christina McLarty’s name rang a bell. That’s because the entertainment reporter was a correspondent for KTVT/Channel 11 for a few years, and was executive producer and host of the “Buzzed Into DFW” segments on the nationally broadcast The Daily Buzz, which aired on CBS 11’s sister station, KTXA/Channel 21.
McLarty was in DFW briefly — from around September 2004 till she transferred to Los Angeles CBS stations \KCBS and KCAL in December 2006. She has since been a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and Omg! Insider, according to Internet Movie Database.
Arquette, 43, and McLarty, 33, have an 11-month-old son, Charlie West. According to InStyle, the couple were married among family and friends, including their son and two Basset hounds. Coco, Arquette’s 10-year-old daughter with Cox, was also at the ceremony.
According to a 2013 E! News story, Arquette and McLarty began dating in the summer of 2011, briefly split up in 2012 but ultimately got back together. At the time Arquette and McLarty began dating, Arquette and Cox had split up, but their divorce wasn’t finalized till later.
McLarty was previously linked to Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis, entering into a “domestic partnership” with him in a civil ceremony in Mexico in November 2010. Although it wasn’t an official marriage, some sources say she was married to Francis; either way, they broke up shortly afterward.
