'A Lone Star Christmas Carol’
It is, perhaps, the most cherished literary tale surrounding the Christmas season. But that doesn’t mean that Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol can’t use a little Texan spice and sass. Enter North Texas’ Gary Taylor and Gary Moody, who have injected more than a bit of the American Southwest into the familiar story of ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future. Fort Worth’s Circle Theatre will begin previews Nov. 19-21 for A Lone Star Christmas Carol,with its official run kicking off with the evening performance Nov. 21 — and extending through Dec.19.
