The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders officially unveiled their 2018 swimsuit calendar at an exclusive soiree on the rooftop pool at the sparkling new Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star.
All 35 of this season’s cheerleaders were on hand for the invitation-only event that was attended by the swimsuit calendar’s photographers, makeup artists and hairstylists, as well as Dallas Cowboys VIPs and sponsors. The swimsuit calendar, which was shot on location at Bimini, Bahamas, is one of five Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders calendar formats that were revealed at the party.
“This is the first time that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders have shot in Bimini,” said DCC Director Kelli Finglass. “I’ve traveled all over the world to 26 countries spanning six continents and the intimate seven-mile island of Bimini had the most breathtaking blue water, creating the most spectacular backdrops ever in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders collections.”
Upon arrival, partygoers took an elevator up to the fourth-level pool deck, where they greeted by this year’s rookie cheerleaders.
Never miss a local story.
The glamorous atmosphere was akin to that of an A-list Hollywood affair at the posh Skybar in Los Angeles, with the crisp 65-degree evening lending a slight chill to the air.
The returning veteran cheerleaders appeared in the calendars. For the party, they were strategically situated throughout the vast pool area. Each of the cheerleaders had her own cocktail-style table adorned with her calendar photo, leaving a place to sign copies and pose for photos with those in attendance.
The luxurious party also featured food options ranging from brisket and yams to fresh greens and crabcakes, as well as sweets including specialty Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders cupcakes and cake balls. There were multiple bars, private cabanas and separate seating around fire pits for everyone to relax and take in the scene.
Everyone who attended the party received a beach-style bag complete with all five of this year’s DCC calendar formats, including the three wall calendars, a boxed calendar and a desk pad, as well as this summer’s Dallas Cowboys Star Magazine swimsuit issue.
The 15-by-7-inch boxed and desk pad calendars feature the cheerleaders in swimwear from 21 different designers. The 12-inch calendar features the cheerleaders in their DCC uniforms on the sidelines during the Cowboys home games at AT&T Stadium.
