According to various reports, Justin Bieber has canceled the rest of his world tour — which has caused a wave of disappoinment for fans of the young star who were planning to catch his next scheduled date: This Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
According to Stereogum, Bieber was to begin the final left of the tour in Arlington, then proceed to a few more dates in the United States, Canada and Asia. He canceled 14 shows — “due to unforeseen circumstances,” according to a statement from his camp.
“Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them,” says the statement, released less than a week before the Arlington show. “He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.”
Stereogum links to a TMZ report about the cancellation, which cites an unnamed source saying that the 23-year-old star is “just over it.”
According to the statement from Bieber’s camp, tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
