Two motorcyclist were killed during the weekend in separate accidents in Fort Worth and Irving, police said Sunday.

Speeding may have been a factor in both accidents, police said Sunday.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim in the Fort Worth accident as Dalton Hall, 25, who was pronounced dead Sunday in the 1600 block of Martin Luther King Freeway, just north of Cobb Park in Fort Worth, police said.

Hall was driving a lime green Kawasaki when he failed to negotiate a curve on the highway shortly before 5 a.m.. Sunday, police said. The motorcycle hit the back of an unoccupied 2001 Ford Taurus with such force that the back of the Taurus ended up on a guardrail, police said.

The motorcycle became lodged under the Taurus, police said. Because of the impact, police did not find the license plate of the motorcycle. The heavy damage to the bike also prevented officers from getting a VIN from the motorcycle, police said Sunday.

Just hours before that accident, another motorcyclist was killed Saturday when he crashed into an ambulance on an Irving street, police said.

The Dallas County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Jeremy Moore, 27, who died at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas shortly after the accident.

Moore’s motorcycle crashed into the ambulance at 4th Street and Westbrook Drive in Irving, police said Sunday.

It is not known how fast either motorcyclist was traveling, but authorities said speed my have been a factor in both fatalities.
