FORT WORTH — Tarrant County authorities have identified two suspected burglars who died Friday after being shot by a homeowner.
Juan Juarez, 24, died at John Peter Smith Hospital about 8:15 p.m. from wounds to the shoulder and head, according to reports. Jonathan Cruz, 27, died in the 4400 block of Shackleford Street from a chest wound, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s Web site.
Police released homeowner Anthony Hawkins pending the investigation. — Mitch Mitchell
