Wine and jazz: Can you think of a better combination for a pleasurable evening?
The folks at Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce definitely have the knack for knowing the pulse of the community and are proving it with their upcoming Wine and Jazz event Nov. 5 at Keller Town Hall (1100 Bear Creek Pkwy.). The fun lasts 5:30-9:30 p.m., and judging from the lineup of entertainment and food, it appears you should arrive early and stay late to experience all that is offered. The committee includes Jackie Black, Debbie Dodge, Barbara Stephens, Marie Chase, Bill Burgan, Clay Fugate, Erayne Hill, Melanie Edmondson, June Johnson, Carita Weaver and Donna Kirkwood, and they have done a bang-up job putting together music, food, and shopping that will wow everyone. Warm up your palate for lots of wine and beer tastings. Pairing the vino with great food will be no problem because a slew of area eateries will be there, including Rockfish Seafood Grill, Sky Creek Ranch Grill, Chef’s Pointe, T.G.I. Friday’s, Cheddar’s, Pollenzo’s Pizza House, Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering, and more. And the mood will be set by the Michael Petrus Band playing jazz music throughout the evening. Rhonda Seyfried from the chamber said, "A unique holiday shopping experience awaits those wanting to jump-start their holiday gift list." Buy your tickets now or at the event. President Susanne Johnson said, "Don’t miss this fabulous community event! Bring your family, friends and co-workers for a tremendous fall outing."
