FORT WORTH -- A Tarrant County jury found Adam Michael Parks guilty today of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault in the 2007 death of Nicholas Cullens, 17.
It took the jury of six men and six women nearly seven hours over two days to convict Parks, 23, of Arlington, in the serious injury of Sara Coots in a collision that occurred April 14, 2007 at the intersection of Sublett Road and Cooper Street in Arlington.
The jury deliberated an additional 45 minutes this morning after the judge gave the panel additional instructions and allowed the attorneys to argue again.
The jury entered the punishment phase shortly after the verdict this morning.
