A death in Dave Matthews' band

Saxophonist LeRoi Moore, one of the founding members of popular rock group the Dave Matthews Band (along with Matthews and drummer Carter Beauford), died Tuesday at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 46.

Moore suffered from lung complications stemming from a June ATV accident in Charlottesville, Va. According to the Associated Press, Moore had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin physical rehabilitation.

Matthews and the band performed as scheduled Tuesday night at the Staples Center.
