Dallas police investigate Loop 12 shooting
DALLAS -- Dallas police are investigating the shooting of a man early Friday near Loop 12 and Singleton Boulevard.
Sgt. Gil Cerda said police initially responded to what was reported as an accident at 6:53 a.m. on the northbound service road of Loop 12 in west Dallas.
When officers arrived they found a Hispanic man bleeding from gunshot wounds to his lower abdomen, Cerda said.
The victim was unidentified, but is in is late 20 or early 30s. He was driving a white older model pickup truck. He was transported to Methodist Central Medical Center in critical condition.
Cerda said the case is under investigation.
