No one was injured when two small planes collided Thursday afternoon at Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke, officials said.
A Piper Cherokee and a Stinson crashed into each other shortly before 2 p.m. on a runway at the south end of the airport, said Tom Reedy, a spokesman for the Denton County sheriff’s office.
The cause of the accident was under investigation. Airport officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
