Should Wade have started regulars against the Redskins?

The Cowboys went into the Redskins game shorthanded because of injuries. Four starters -- receiver Terrell Owens (ankle), center Andre Gurode (knee), nose tackle Jay Ratliff (knee) and cornerback Terence Newman (knee) didn't make the trip.

So they had plenty of reason to play it safe Sunday. But for nearly three quarters, they didn't.

In a game that had no playoff significance, the Cowboys played to win. They did so with many starters such as Romo and linebackers DeMarcus Ware and Greg Ellis going most of the way.
