The Cowboys defense intercepted Dolphins quarterback Trent Green four times, sacked him twice and also recovered a fumble to help the Cowboys pull away from the Dolphins and claim a convincing 37-20 win Sunday.
Free safety Ken Hamlin's interception late in the third quarter led to a 28-yard field goal by rookie Nick Folk, boosting the Cowboys lead to 20-13. And nose tackle Jay Ratliff's recovery of a fumbled snap in the fourth quarter led to a 47-yarder by Folk, making it 23-13. The Cowboys scored 17 points in the fourth quarter.
