When Carnegie Mellon University professor Randy Pausch was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he gave his children a guide to living a good life in the guise of a lecture to his students and peers.
His story, the basis for a new book, The Last Lecture, left us in an inspired puddle of tears, and we're not finished yet: Now we want to hear from you.
After all, graduation season is coming. And that springtime rite of passage calls for some good advice.
So tell us: What is the single best piece of wisdom or advice that has carried you through struggles, helped you put things into perspective, turned life into an adventure? What one tidbit do you want to share with the next generation?
Give us just one piece of advice -- your very best -- and, if necessary, a short paragraph of explanation. (No more than 300 words, please.) We'll choose our favorite entries and publish them in late May, just as this year's crop of graduates gets ready to take on the world.
