Tampa Bay Bucs receiver Mike Evans, the No. 7 overall pick, has reset his career high for receiving yards in four consecutive games. He has a league-best 536 yards the past four games, including 209 last week. His 458 yards the past three games stands as the most ever for a Bucs player in a three-game stretch. The former Texas A&M star leads all rookie receivers with 794 receiving yards, and he has seven touchdowns.

Instead, the former Baylor quarterback likely will play out his rookie contract, paying him $3.2 million next season, and barring a new deal, he would become a free agent in 2016. Griffin is only 3-13 in the 16 full games he has played since tearing his right anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament in a January 2013 playoff loss to Seattle.
