Overhead, work crews are closing the gap

Construction update

One hundred and twelve feet is all that separates the two ends of the north arch at the Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Crews are expected to finish the second of two arches at the stadium late next week, construction manager Jack Hill said. The arches will support the retractable roof on the enclosed stadium.

Work on the two end zones also continues as crews poured 1,400 cubic yards of concrete to create the main concourse level on the east end zone. And limestone has started arriving from Ontario, Canada. It will be placed on the exterior of the stadium wall below the glass panels.

Ticket sales update

Starting Monday, any Dallas Cowboys season ticket holder will have the chance to purchase a club seat in the new stadium.

Initially, the team offered 15,000 club seats to about 5,000 account holders who currently have the best seats in Texas Stadium. With only about 7,500 of those seats sold to date, the team is now opening up those seats to all season ticket holders.

Personal seat licenses on club seats cost $16,000 to $150,000, and tickets for a single game in the club seats cost $340.

The seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis; there is no deadline to make a decision. Season ticket holders who have upper deck or end zone seats at Texas Stadium can upgrade to club seats or wait a few weeks to see what comparable seats in the new stadium will cost.
