The Cowboys were in control in the first quarter. They had the ball in Green Bay territory twice, but they ended up with nothing to show for it. They got as far as the Green Bay 19, but Miles Austin dropped a potential touchdown pass and Nick Folk missed a 38-yard field goal. It was his fourth miss of the season, and it’s starting to raise some concern. Folk missed seven field goals in the two seasons prior to this one. This would prove to be an omen for the rest of game for the Cowboys. "I thought we would play better, but we didn’t. We have to bounce back," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said. "We knew all along they had a good football team and have a lot of good players. They were the No. 4 defense going in. They were one of the highest scoring teams in the league."Read more
