Grapevine-Colleyville hires search firm
GRAPEVINE -- A search firm has been hired and a application deadline of April 30 set for the superintendent search in the Grapevine-Colleyville school district. Superintendent Kay Waggoner is leaving to take the top post in the Richardson school district. School Executive Consulting will assist the board in recruiting candidates, conducting interviews, reporting to the community and drawing up a contract. Teachers, parents, employees and community leaders will have chances to provide input on a leadership profile to guide the board and the firm in selecting candidates, according to a news release from the district. Finalists should be identified in June and a new superintendent should be hired by July.Read more
