Labor Day

What’s closed

All nonessential federal, state, county and municipal offices and school districts will be closed today in observance of Labor Day. Mail will not be delivered, and banks and the stock market will be closed.

The Trinity Railway Express will not run. T buses and the Mobility Impaired Transportation Service will operate on a Sunday schedule.

What’s open

In most cities, recreational and amusement venues, including water parks, swimming pools, golf courses and tennis centers, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the Japanese Garden, the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, the Log Cabin Village and the Fort Worth Zoo.

Garbage collection

Pickup as usual: Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Fort Worth, Grapevine, Hurst, Haltom City, Keller, Watauga.

No service: Arlington, Mansfield, North Richland Hills (Monday collections shift to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday), Saginaw (Monday collections shift to Tuesday), Southlake (Monday collections shift to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday).
