Courtney Miles rushed for 313 yards and totaled five touchdowns as Trophy Club Nelson beat the Flower Mound Jaguars 42-35 Friday night at Neal Wilson Stadium.

Miles’ scoring runs were for 56, 1, 46 and the six-yard game winner with 1:19 left in the game. He also caught a 46-yard touchdown pass from Preston Haire for the Bobcats’ only score of the first half. Including three receptions, he had 398 yards from scrimmage. The touchdown broke a 35-35 tie.

The Bobcats might have won more easily but they suffered 157 penalty yards.

They also had a punt blocked giving the Jaguars possession at the 1, were called for an illegal chop block four times, had a snap over the punter’s head that resulted in a punt that didn’t make the line of scrimmage and gave up a fumble that allowed the hosts to tie the score in the fourth quarter.
