Saginaw Boswell controls Fort Worth Southwest

Jordan Cox threw for four touchdowns and Saginaw Boswell scored on four first-half possessions to take control in a 44-21 victory over Fort Worth Southwest in Friday’s season opener at Pioneer Stadium.

Boswell started quickly, with Cox’s first touchdown pass going to Chandler Freeseman.

Reginald Macon, who led Boswell on the ground with 156 yards on 20 carries, then scored the first of his two rushing touchdowns. Macon’s first score was set up by a Chris Delgado interception.

Quarterback Najee Adderly finished with 21 carries for 161 yards and was 12 for 22 passing for 213 yards for Southwest
