Police: Missing Fort Worth teen back home

A 16-year-old Fort Worth girl whom police had been searching for since she ran away Aug. 14, apparently to be with a foreign man she’d met on the Internet, returned home Saturday evening, police confirmed.

Police are continuing their investigation, said Sgt. William Hix, supervisor of the major case unit.

Allyson Aguilar had left home Aug. 14, telling her mother in a note that she would return in nine days.

Family members say that in the months before she left, the teen had been corresponding with a 20-year-old man from the Netherlands, Daniel Badie, whom she had met on the Internet.

Police issued a request for assistance in finding the girl after confirming that Badie had flown into Dallas/Fort Worth Airport on the same day that Allyson ran away.
