Cornerback Sterling Moore missed another practice Wednesday. He’s been sidelined for a week now with a groin injury, saying he tried to come back too soon when the Cowboys and Raiders held joint practices the final week of training camp in Oxnard, Calif.

But Moore said he has felt improvement and went through more extensive drills Wednesday. He hopes to practice Thursday.

“Today I kind of just went out there free and just did it,” Moore said. “I didn’t have any problems, so hopefully it’s a step forward.”

Moore went on to say it’s been a frustrating process to go through.

“I wake up and I feel good and then I get out there and I start moving and I feel tightness,” Moore said.
