FORT WORTH — A Fort Worth elementary teacher faces a charge of child sexual abuse after being arrested at his home over the weekend, police said Tuesday.Police identified the suspect as Juan Jose Soto Rangel, 51.Rangel was taken into custody Sunday and faces a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, police Cpl. Tracey Knight said. Knight provided no further details and would not say whether the investigation involves students.Rangel, hired in August 2008, initially taught first grade and most recently taught third grade, district spokesman Clint Bond said in an email. He resigned Friday, Bond said.School officials declined to say which schools he taught at during his six years in the district.Rangel was a teacher at W.J. Turner Elementary during the 2013-14 school year, according to the Fort Worth school district website on Tuesday. He was listed as a first grade teacher.Rangel was booked into jail Sunday, with bail set at $50,000.
