Backup quarterback Brandon Weeden wasn’t as sharp as he was in the preseason opener.

Weeden made a few questionable decisions, particularly on deep passes. One of them was intercepted by Ravens cornerback Brynden Trawick.

“We saw something on the sidelines and we were going to take a shot,” Weeden said. “The guy just made a great play. If I had to do it over, I’d probably would have done it a little different technique-wise.”

Weeden missed a couple other open receivers, too, including underthrowing tight end Gavin Escobar in the flat on a third-and-11 from the Cowboys’ 8-yard-line late in the first half.

Weeden finished 10 of 19 for 129 yards and one interception. Against San Diego, he was 13 of 17 for 107 yards and a TD.

“Not bad,” Weeden said of his overall performance Saturday. “I did get off to a hot start, played well last week. But there’s going to be wrinkles, playing with so many guys. There’s a lot to work on. Some good, some bad, but something to build on.”
