OXNARD, Calif. — The Cowboys are expected to return next summer for a 10th training camp in Oxnard. The team is in the final year of a three-year contract, but it holds three one-year options.Nothing is finalized, and the Cowboys’ return is contingent on a vacant lot next to the practice fields continuing to be available for parking. But assuming the Cowboys are back in Oxnard in 2015, they could make a visit to the Raiders’ training camp in Napa, Calif., for joint practices."There have been some preliminary discussions," Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. "We’d like to be able to do it. It's probably too early to say for sure."…I like doing this. I think it does nothing but help your football team. Any time you get in this competitive environment, it increases the sense of urgency of your football team."It seems logical the practices could come either before or after the second preseason game, with the Cowboys playing that game in Oakland. It is what the Cowboys did in 2012, staying in San Diego for two joint practices with the Chargers after a preseason game before heading home.
