The Cowboys have heard nothing from the league office on Josh Brent’s status.

The defensive tackle met with Commissioner Roger Goodell on Thursday in an attempt to resume his career. He was sentenced to six months in jail and 10 years probation for intoxication manslaughter.

“We’ll wait for the commissioner’s decision in due time,” owner Jerry Jones said.
