Fort Worth Cats rally in eighth to beat Rio Grande Valley

The Fort Worth Cats scored four runs in the eighth inning to beat Rio Grande Valley 5-4 in a come-from-behind victory Saturday night.

Trailing 4-1 in the eighth, the Cats rallied with five hits.

Chris Martinez singled and went to second on an error. Cory Morales brought him in with a single.

Pinch hitter Sam DiMatteo and Ryan Lashley tied the game with back-to-back doubles.

Edwin Gomez singled in the tiebreaking run.

The Cats return home Tuesday for a six-game homestand.
