CASA-Hope for Children has always been able to help 100 percent of the neglected and abused children taken into the foster care system in our counties. But because of the overwhelming number of children that have been taken into the system that may not be the reality much longer.“Our organization began in 2006 and volunteers in our counties have been there for these kiddos,” said Executive Director Barbara Tucker. “Our organization is only one of five out of the 71 CASAs in the state that hold that record. Please don’t let a child go without a voice in the legal system. We need you.” To raise awareness for the CASA-Hope for Children recently unveiled its new website, casahopeforchildren.org. New features include a calendar, volunteer application and donation options. Several promotional videos were developed by David Ball of DBall Media. The videos are uploaded to YouTube and can also be viewed on the new website. The videos tell the story and illustrate the mission of CASA-to serve as a voice for the abused and neglected children of Parker and Palo Pinto Counties.
