A Burleson man has died after a wreck that occurred as he pulled out of a driveway and collided with another vehicle on Texas 174, police said Thursday.

Bobby Lee Dishman, 78, was pronounced dead Tuesday, two days after the crash in the 2400 block of Wilshire Boulevard, also known as Texas 174, and one of the main routes through the city.

Dishman was driving alone in a Mercury Cougar about 11:44 a.m. Sunday. He pulled onto the road and collided with a Dodge Ram pickup driven by Ryan James Vanderwolde, 28, of Joshua, police said.

Police said the contributing factor was failure to yield right of way from a private driveway.
