Man injured in train accident in Fort Worth

A 21-year-old man injured his foot and broke his leg early Monday after he was struck by a train near a crossing at Tierney Road and East Rosedale Street.

The injured man, listed as Leopoldo Molina in a Fort Worth police incident report, was found by authorities at 800 S. Edgewood Terrace shortly after 5 a.m. Police carried Molina along the railroad tracks close to Miller Avenue where MedStar was located.

Molina was treated by MedStar paramedics and taken by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital. He was listed as a patient at the hospital at 11:30 a.m., but his condition was undetermined.
