Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The Houston Astros placed outfielder Alex Presley on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a right oblique strain.

Presley left Monday's 12-7 victory over Texas after suffering the injury while batting in the eighth inning.

The 28-year-old has hit for a .252 batting average with five home runs and 13 RBI for this season.

Houston recalled outfielder Robbie Grossman from Triple-A Oklahoma City to take Presley's spot on the roster.

Grossman has compiled a .158 batting average with two home runs and 11 RBI in 35 games this season.
