Thank you

During my nearly three years on the Keller City Council, one of the things we didn’t do regularly enough was recognize and thank the citizens who volunteered to serve on our various boards and commissions. We did hold a very nice reception at Town Hall several months ago to show our appreciation to these appointed officials, and it was long overdue.

These residents, appointed by the City Council, reviewed issues, conducted programs, and made important recommendations to us. Given the volume of business we had to deal with and the fact that we were all volunteers, the Council simply couldn’t have done its job without these many people helping out.

Some citizens who helped us in recent years are now no longer serving the City, and I’d like to say thanks to them one more time for their commitment to our community. Those of us who live here are better off because of their caring and concern for Keller, and they can all be very proud of their accomplishments.

Thanks to these former appointed city officials for a job well done: Planning & Zoning Commission – Jay Brown, Jackie Black, Paul Frederiksen, Ken Lewis, Trent Petty, Vern Stansell, Dan Truby. Parks & Recreation Board – Ron Jencopale, Maureen Hagan, Todd Nelson, Andy Wheaton, Philip Olson, Toby Lewis. Keller Development Corp. Board – Bob Hill, James Kwasny.

Sincerely,

John Hoffmann, Keller
