Fort Worth Cats bats’ mash San Angelo’s late push

Fort Worth’s bats heated up late to hold off a rally by the San Angelo Colts to give the Cats an 8-3 win Wednesday at Foster Field.

The Cats had eight extra-base hits, including a home run each from Ryan Lashley and Edwin Gomez. Lashley went 4 for 5 with four RBIs and three runs scored.

Former Fort Worth Southwest and UT Arlington star Daniel Milliman pitched 2/3 innings, giving up two runs on one hit.
