The Christian Schools Athletic Fellowship recently selected Trinity Christian Academy’s Emma Quarles as a CSAF Junior High Scholar Athlete.

TCA Athletic Director Patti Hale presented the award to Emma, the daughter of Curtis and Kim Quarles of Benbrook. Emma received a $250 tuition scholarship with the award.

Emma was chosen based on her academic achievements, good attendance and participation in at least one sport. She also was required to write an essay describing who has inspired her life on and/or off the field of play and what values she has learned through this role model. Emma chose to write about her father.

Hale said, "We are very proud of Emma for her effort on the basketball court and in the classroom."
