In his June 15 letter, Michael Holland wrote that one of the reasons Walter Dansby gave for his resignation as school superintendent was nepotism. He quotes Dansby:

“I wasn’t giving raises to (trustees’) relatives. I wasn’t hiring people they wanted me to hire just because they wanted me to hire them. I had to remove 19 people in the (personnel department) who were closely tied to board members over the years.”

Schools and nepotism.

What about Trinity River Vision and flagrant in-your-face nepotisim? I know about Walter Dansby, and Rep. Kay Granger is no Walter Dansby.
