A dominating offense helped the Fort Worth Vaqueros rout the BCS Clash of College Station 11-2 on Friday at LaGrave Field. The victory marked Fort Worth’s first win in NPSL South Central Conference play.

Six Fort Worth players scored, with Dalibor Golubovic and Austin Stewart each earning hat tricks.

The Vaqueros (1-4-1, 4 points) took a 6-0 lead at the half. Fort Worth opened the second half with four more goals to take a 10-0 lead into the 79th minute.

Fort Worth’s team played without captain Joshua Hernandez, who was suspended due to yellow card accumulation, and Tyler Humphrey, who was injured. Both will return to the pitch for Sunday’s 7:30 p.m. home game against the San Antonio Corinthians.

Vaqueros coach Mark Snell said the team focused on coming out strong in the first 15 minutes. The aggressive start paid off with the first goal in the 19th minute.
