Matthew Chavez led off the ninth with his second solo home run of the night to complete the Fort Worth Cats’ late rally past the San Angelo Colts to a 5-4 win on Wednesday at LaGrave Field.

The Colts scored all four of their runs in the fourth inning off Cats starter Trent Montgomery, who got a no-decision after six innings of work and striking out five.

Chavez got one back for Fort Worth by leading off the bottom of the fourth with a solo homer off Colts starter Jake Feckley.

Chavez sent the second pitch he saw in the ninth from Alfredo Caballero (0-2) out of the park to clinch the win.
