Tyler Stubblefield scattered four hits in his first career complete game, helping Texas A&M stave off elimination for the second time Sunday with a 3-2 victory over Texas in the Houston Regional.

Texas A&M (36-25) and Texas (40-19) will play a deciding game at 6 p.m. Monday (Longhorn Network), with the winner advancing to the NCAA super regionals.

Stubblefield (4-2) threw 134 pitches while walking five and striking out nine.

Nick Banks went 1-for-4, but his only hit drove in Ryne Birk for the go-ahead run in the fifth inning. Stubblefield took care of the rest, and didn’t allow a runner past second base after the Longhorns took a 2-1 lead on Madison Carter’s two-out single in the third.

Travis Duke (2-1) pitched four innings in relief of starter Lukas Schiraldi, and Mark Payton went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored for the Longhorns.

Texas A&M came back from a 6-0 deficit to defeat Rice 9-8 in 10 innings in an elimination game earlier Sunday. Krey Bratsen scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th inning. A&M was down 6-1 when Cole Lankford’s grand slam stared the Aggies’ comeback.

Texas advanced to the championship round by beating Rice 3-2 in 11 innings Saturday. Brooks Marlow knocked in Zane Gurwitz with a single in the 11th.

Stillwater Regional

Oklahoma State scored two runs in the sixth inning and three in the seventh to forge a 6-4 come-from-behind victory over Cal State Fullerton in the championship game of the Stillwater Regional on Sunday night.

Down 4-1 in the sixth, the Cowboys cut the deficit to 4-3 when Conor Costello hit a two-run home run.

They charged into the lead in the seventh when Tim Arakawa hit a two-run single and Ryan Case added an RBI single as OSU advanced to the NCAA super regionals.

The Titans grabbed a 3-0 lead when Oklahoma State starter Tyler Nurdin, from Fort Worth Paschal, wasn’t able to make it out of the first inning.

But Trey Cobb pitched 51/3 innings of strong relief, giving up six hits and one unearned run.

Coral Gables Regional

The game between Miami and Texas Tech was suspended after a third rain delay, with the Red Raiders leading 1-0 in the top of the eighth inning.

The game will be concluded Monday. Sunday’s game featured a scuffle between the teams after which a player and two coaches were ejected.

Texas Tech led 1-0 in the third when Miami’s David Thompson tried to beat out an infield hit. He collided with Tech first baseman Eric Gutierrez, was tagged out and fell to the ground. Gutierrez showed Thompson the ball and then dropped it right next to him.

Miami first base coach Gino DiMare had words with Gutierrez, prompting Tech first base coach Jay-Bob Thomas to come from the dugout. Both benches emptied, but no punches were thrown and the game was delayed 15 minutes. Gutierrez, Thomas and DiMare were ejected and had to leave the grounds.

Baton Rouge Regional

Kyle Survance’s RBI single in the 11th inning led Houston to a 5-4 win over LSU to force a deciding game. Houston (47-16) and LSU (46-15-1) will play Monday night, with the winner advancing to the super regionals.

Louisville Regional

• Louisville 8, Kansas 6: Jacob Moylan doubled in two runs as the Wildcats scored seven times in the first four innings to eliminate the Jayhawks. Louisville scored three runs in the seventh inning, and the Cardinals topped Kentucky 4-1 in the championship game Sunday night to advance to the super regionals.

Charlottesville Regional

Brandon Waddell allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings and Virginia scored six times in the second inning and won the Charlottesville regional with a 9-2 victory against Arkansas.

Nashville Regional

Pinch-hitter Ro Coleman hit a walkoff single with the bases loaded to send Vanderbilt back to the super regionals with a 3-2 victory over Oregon.
